The newly nominated Director-General of MOTT took over the responsibility

The President of the Republic of Somaliland, his Excellency Muse Bihi Abdi has nominated a new Director-General for the Ministry of Trade and Tourism on the 15th of August 2022. The New Director-General, Honorable Abdirashid Ibrahim Sh. Abdirahman took over the Responsibility from the previous Director-General, Hon. Hamza Hamud Guled.

The Ministry of Trade and Tourism has organized a handing-over ceremony graced by many dignitaries including but not limited to Deputy Ministers, Director-Generals, members of the business community, the ministry department directors, and civil servants. "Very grateful to the legacy of my dear friend Director-General Hamza Guled and the entire leadership and civil servants of the Ministry," said the New Director-General, Hon. Abdirashid Ibrahim Abdirahman.
